Terms & Policies
Overview
These guidelines help ensure a thoughtful, welcoming experience for participants and families.
Overview
Salish Kids Club is committed to providing a thoughtful, welcoming, and creative environment for children and families. The following policies are in place to help sessions run smoothly and ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.
Registration & Payment
Registration is required in advance for all sessions. Payment is due at the time of booking to reserve your child’s spot. Sessions may fill quickly, so early registration is recommended to ensure availability.
Cancellations & Refunds
Plans change, and we understand that schedules shift. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please reach out as soon as possible. Changes are typically available up to 24 hours before the session start time when space allows. Refunds may not be available for late cancellations or missed sessions.
Missed Sessions
Missed sessions due to illness or scheduling conflicts are not guaranteed refunds or credits, but we will do our best to help reschedule when space is available. Please keep children home if they are feeling unwell so we can maintain a healthy environment for all participants.
Arrival & Pickup
Please arrive a few minutes early so children have time to settle in before the session begins. Sessions start and end on time to respect all families. Children must be picked up promptly at the end of the session. If someone other than a parent or guardian will be picking up, please let us know in advance.
Drop-Off Policy
All sessions are drop-off. Parents are welcome to remain nearby within the SEA Discovery Center during the session if preferred. Supervision by Salish Kids Club applies only during scheduled session times.
Safety & Materials
Salish Kids Club uses child-friendly materials and provides guidance throughout each session. Activities may include paint, slime, and other creative materials, and safety and supervision are always prioritized. While materials are selected with children in mind, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. If your child has allergies, sensitivities, or specific needs, please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Participation
Children are encouraged to participate at their own pace. Some may choose to observe before joining in, and that’s okay. Sessions are designed to be guided and creative rather than instructional, allowing each child to explore and create in their own way.
Behavior Expectations
We aim to create a calm, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants. Children are expected to follow basic safety guidelines and treat others, materials, and the space with care. In rare situations where behavior disrupts the experience or safety of others, a parent or guardian may be asked to pick up early. This helps ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.
Mess & Clothing
Creative sessions may involve paint, slime, and other materials that can get messy. Aprons are provided, but we recommend children wear clothes that can comfortably get paint or materials on them.
Photography & Media
From time to time, photos may be taken during sessions to share class activities or promote Salish Kids Club. Children’s names are never shared publicly. Families may opt out of photography at any time by letting us know before or during a session.
Minimum Enrollment
Occasionally, sessions may be rescheduled or canceled if minimum enrollment is not met. Families will be notified in advance and offered a reschedule or refund.
Changes to Sessions
Salish Kids Club reserves the right to modify session details, schedules, or instructors when necessary. Families will be notified of any significant changes as soon as possible.
